Congratulations to Bellaire Public Library Assistant Librarian, Mary Love, on her retirement!  Please stop by the library before Mary's last day, May 3rd, and wish her the best!  Mary has been with the library for 14 years off and on through the years!  We will miss her but we are excited for her new adventures with her new husband, Rodney Love, and their two dogs Pepper and Autumn.  Mary plans to travel and get some well deserved time in her beautiful gardens.  Thanks so much for all  you hard work and dedication!

Welcome Bellaire Public Library's new Assistant Librarian, Yvonne Stephens!  Yvonne lives with her husband and two children in Bellaire, where she has lived since 2007.  She has worked as an assistant in the fields of mycology, forestry, and neurology research, volunteered for two years in the AmeriCorps, and most recently was an Artist Residency Coordinator for the Crosshatch Center for Art and Ecology.  Her first collection of poems, The Salt Before It Shakes, was released by Hidden Timber Books of Milwaukee in December of 2017.  Her second collection of poems will be available later this year.  Besides being with family and writing Yvonne loves to read, bake, and take walks in the woods.  We are thrilled that she will join our staff!  Stop by the Bellaire Public Library to welcome Yvonne!
