Bellaire Public Library Card Policy for in district patrons and out of district patrons.

BELLAIRE PUBLIC LIBRARY CARD POLICY
How do I get an in district library card?
Applicants for a Library card must present a picture ID and/or proof of current address.
Each member of a family may have their own card. However, at the request of the parent or at the discretion of Library staff, one (1) card may be issued to the family. An application will be completed and signed by the applicant. Applicants under the age of eighteen (18) must have a parent or guardian complete the application and the card will be issued to the family.
An in-district Library card will be issued only to those patrons who reside in or pay property taxes in Forest Home, Kearney, or Custer Township. Please bring documentation of ownership as well as a drivers license.

How do I get an out of district library card?
If applicants do not reside in or pay property taxes in Forest Home, Kearney, or Custer townships, they will be issued an out of district card. An annual fee of $10.00 will be charged per family for out of district cards. Out of district cards will expire one year after issuance but can be renewed annually for $10.00.

All applicants will be issued a numbered and bar-coded card. If the patron already has a card from another Library they will be issued a bar code which may be placed on their home Library card.
